Investments: Yung Bleu The Multi-Genre Rap Financial Genius

Growing to the level of stardom in the rap game is what every artist dreams of, but what you do with the fame and money is what matters most. Mobile, Alabama rapper Yung Bleu is showing us exactly what every artist or young black successful man with money should be doing.

At 11 years old the now million dollar rapper was just young looking for a way to express himself through the madness waiting right outside his door everyday. So he took his Nokia cellphone and began recording himself rapping about his life and what was going on around him. He soon realized he had a gift and started creating tapes. At 13 years old, he had gained the confidence needed to actually release his music to the public. He decided to self-release his mixtape “Hello World”.  It wasn't long before he started getting the attention he deserved, he was sought after signed by the Tennessee music guru Drumma Boy. The relationship WENT separate ways after the artist was not getting paid for his talents and left Yung Bleu open to new opportunities. As he continued to work on his music he realized he needed to work with people who really understood his style and trust his vision as a artist.

Planing his next big move Bleu decided to reach out the hottest rapper from the South, Boosie Badazz. Knowing a big time artist such as Boosie may not have the time or opportunity to see his email or message Bleu decided to reach out to a close relative of the artist, his brother, to see if he would pass his music along. Sure enough he did!

After listening to his track Boosie emailed him back and had him on the next flight out. Yung Bleu was just getting started. At a later show in his hometown, Boosie gave him his well-earned label chain. It was official Yung Bleu had been signed to the Badazz music syndicate. The excitement does not stop there. The artist did not fail to meet the Louisiana legends expectations by going viral in the the same year where his hit “Miss It” gain over a million views in a few weeks. In 2019, the artist also received RIAA’s Historic Gold® for his song “Ice On My Baby”.

“My mission is just to create a legendary catalog of music”

His mission for success did not just end with music. In 2016, the artist started his Investments Mixtapes and Documentary. He was open and honest with the fans as to how it felt being financially incapable to live life on his own terms and how the people around him treated him due to where he was at in life at the time. He also talks about investing in yourself and how much of an impact it can make on your life and your career. As he learns more about money and how to make it work for himself he decided to share that with those looking to receive the knowledge.

Last year the artist got to work and showed us how its done when he invested in his hometown taking an Applebees and turning it into his own soul food restaurant “Yung Bleu’s Soul Food Restaurant”. The restaurant was inspired by his best friends mother, Chef Gwen, who was like a second mom to him growing up as she would watch after and feed him and his friends growing up providing a safe haven from the streets. It was important for him to be one of the first artist from mobile to begin investing in his community in efforts to inspire other artist to do the same. He is also currently preparing to host the 1st annual Blue Bash 2020 at the Lads-Pebbles Stadium there on August 30. Bleu being from the area gives him a lot more access to the city and allows him to know whats needed and best for its people. It is refreshing to have an artist that cares as much about the community and teaching the masses as he does his own fortune and music.
